The “Puthenpurayil Kutumba Vedi” is the forum grouping the members of the “Puthenpurayil” Clan originally from Padoor village in the Thrissur District of Kerala, India.
The Padoor “Puthenpurayil” family consists of descendants of the late Rayammarakkar Veettil Puthenpurayil Dainu and Panikkaveettil Payyakkal Said Mohammed. Out of this lineage, the Puthenpurayil Kutumba Vedi groups posterities of their second and third offspring’s, namely Dainawa & Kunjimma.
The family members today use several surnames, including Rayammarakkar Veettil Puthenpurayil (R P), Rayammarakkar Veettil (R V) and Nalakath Puthenpurayil (N P). This website contains a detailed genealogy chart of the family (an overview version of the chart is allowed for the public view).
The family members is now spread to various locations including Guruvayoor, Thiruvathra, Thirunelloor, Kadappuram, Kalloor, Aviyoor and many members have migrated to other states and overseas.
